A sanctuary for reflection, renewal, and community...

Quietude was created to offer a healing, welcoming environment where individuals and groups come together for workshops, learning, and social gatherings. It is a place to step out of the pace of everyday life and explore the inner life—so that authenticity, compassion, and creativity can be brought more fully into the outer world.
Designed for meaningful connection, Quietude supports both those attending events and those hosting them. The space is simply appointed and grounded, making it well suited for experiences that invite reflection, relationship, and thoughtful exchange.

Quietude hosts:

  • Workshops, classes, and retreats focused on personal growth, wellness, and creativity

  • Healing arts, mindfulness, spiritual, and contemplative experiences

  • Community conversations and learning circles

  • Small gatherings and events for up to 25 participants

Quietude is located on two acres in a residential neighborhood and was originally built in 1926 as a hunting and fishing lodge. The historic Lodge sits at the front of the property and serves as the primary gathering space for events and workshops. Behind the Lodge are cabins that comprise the Quietude MicroVillage. Here, residents not only make Quietude their home but also contribute to the wider community through their healing arts practices, and/or by working directly with Quietude. Whether you are attending an event or hosting one, Quietude offers a setting that supports genuine connection, meaningful work, and shared experience.
